This is a Reducing Sleeve intended to fit the 75 AMP Series contact. The contact that comes with the 75 AMP and SB50 connectors normally accepts 6AWG wire. This sleeve allows for 8AWG wire to be properly fitted to the contact. First the sleeve is inserted into the wire end of the contact and then the smaller wire is inserted into the sleeve. Crimping and/or soldering can now be preformed.
